Forevermark makes a promise of our own: that each of our diamonds is beautiful, rare and responsibly sourced. This promise is symbolized by the unique inscription at its heart, making a Forevermark diamond the ultimate expression of life’s most important promises.
Forevermark diamonds are hand-selected for their beauty and rarity, and each is genuine, untreated and natural. As part of the De Beers Group of Companies, Forevermark benefits from over 125 years of diamond expertise. Experts at the Forevermark Diamond Institute carefully inspect every diamond, going beyond the technical qualities of the 4Cs to hand-pick only those diamonds that are truly beautiful.
Of all the world’s diamonds, less than one percent is eligible to become Forevermark.
Each Forevermark diamond is also responsibly sourced, originating at one of a handful of carefully selected mines that benefit the people, community and country where they are located. Forevermark traces each diamond along its journey, ensuring strict business, environmental and social standards are met at every step.
Every Forevermark diamond receives an inscription that represents our promise that it is beautiful, rare and responsibly sourced. This means you can be proud to own and wear your Forevermark diamond forever.
Invisible to the naked eye, this inscription includes the Forevermark icon and a unique number, making each Forevermark diamond as special as the promise made when it is given or received. The inscription also allows each Forevermark diamond to be registered in your name, confirming it as uniquely yours.
Forevermark diamonds are hand selected from countless other diamonds for their beauty, craftsmanship, and integrity. Less than 1% of the world’s diamonds are eligible to become a Forevermark diamond.
As part of The De Beers Group of Companies, Forevermark draws on more than 125 years of diamond expertise to bring you the most carefully selected diamonds in the world.
Every Forevermark diamond’s journey begins at a carefully selected mine in countries such as South Africa, Botswana, Namibia and Canada.
Forevermark diamonds are mined from deep below the earth’s surface and from the ocean floor. Some are even sourced from beneath an Arctic lake. Each mine must meet exigent business, social and environmental standards that go beyond the Kimberley Process and must pass rigorous third-party auditing.
The De Beers Group of Companies makes lasting contributions to the mining communities through educational, medical and social initiatives and through actions taken to redress the environmental impact of mining. For more details, explore our Responsibly Sourced section.
Drawing on vast experience, diamond sorters masterfully assess the distinct natural characteristics of each rough diamond – color, size and shape – to ascertain those of potential Forevermark quality.
Sorting takes great skill and years of training. Each Forevermark diamond is entirely unique, so each time a diamond is assessed, an entirely new combination of characteristics must be evaluated.
